The number of instances of an issue you see on the page overview lists are the numbers Siteimprove picked up in the last crawl.
Sometimes we cannot re-find all of the instances of an issue on the page report. This is depicted like this in the Page Report:
Often this is because the instances actually do not exist on the page anymore.
There could be a number of reasons for this, including:
- Differences between browsers. Using Chrome might help.
- Dynamic content that is added or modified after load or that changes from time to time.
- Re-check the page or site to try and rectify the issue.
