April 2021 Release Highlights

Modified on: Fri, 7 Oct, 2022 at 10:33 AM

Our monthly release highlights include a summary of important new features from the previous month.

This month’s update includes:

A redesign of the "My Policies" page

Siteimprove Policy helps ensure that content strictly adheres to your organization’s web standards, so your organization provides a consistent experience for visitors across all of your websites.

We’ve redesigned the "My Policies" page to optimize the data overview for each policy. The added components include:

  • A new slide-in component with actionable insights
  • A visual indication of the historic changes on a single policy
  • The possibility to add one or more policies as top priorities

Accessibility Chrome Extension

We have released a new Accessibility Chrome Extension in connection with Siteimprove Accessibility NextGen which was released earlier this year.

Not only does the Accessibility Chrome Extension provide an overview of issues for a specific page, it also highlights the location of an issue when a user clicks on a specific issue.

The Accessibility Chrome Extension can be downloaded in the Chrome Store.

Email report template

We’ve released the option to create customized email report templates for Dashboard reports. Your organization can now add a personal look-and-feel to reports. Customization options include logos, brand colors, header, footer, links, and text.

We provide a default email template that you can edit.  You can also create your own new email templates. You can find the email report template feature in the Siteimprove platform via Reports (menu item in Dashboards) > Email templates
