Why SEO Advanced does not show data for a particular keyword

Sometimes SEO Advanced does not show data for a keyword you wish to monitor and you will be presented with a “No data available yet” message.

Why does this happen?

This can occur for the following reasons:

  • The keyword has search volume, but no position data.
  • The keyword does not have any search volume and no position data.

We receive keyword related data from our data partners. When data is not showing in a particular case that means we are not receiving keyword related data from them for the particular keyword. It does not mean there are any issues with the SEO module but rather that no data is available for that keyword at this time.

Note: In some cases, you may see the message "Getting data". This means that we did not have data on the keyword readily available and need to crawl to retrieve the information. This process can take up to 24 hours

What can you do?

If you do not see data for a specific keyword, try adding a different form of the keyword.

Our data provider supports singular versions of words. So sometimes it helps to change a keyword from plural version to singular and vice versa.

If you still don’t get any data, you can use the following features to help find alternative keywords.

Keyword suggestions

Keyword suggestions allow you to find closely related keywords based on input Keyword. Type your keyword to see a list of keyword suggestions you can use instead. These keywords can be then added to an Activity Plan.
